New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick said he's not a huge fan of meteorologists, but he can't be too mad at Mother Nature.
The Patriots and Broncos woke up Sunday in Massachusetts to heavy snow and wind, and that could continue until kickoff of 4:25 p.m. kickoff. The Broncos present unique challenges to any defense, but a snow storm will certainly slow them down. Last year, the Patriots and Broncos played in cold and windy conditions and Manning struggled a bit, as the Patriots scored a comeback victory in overtime.

The Weather Channel forecast expected about 20- mile-an-hour winds and temperatures in the high 30s at kickoff. The chances of precipitation drop through the day, according to the forecast, with about a 30 percent chance of precipitation at 4 p.m. There could be accumulation on the field even if it's not snowing at kickoff, however. The Patriots' official Twitter account seemed to enjoy the weather.
Of course, the Patriots offense and Tom Brady will be affected too. Windy conditions affect passing games more than precipitation, usually. It certainly adds a unique aspect to the latest Manning-Brady showdown.
