Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Briere flung the puck towards Zach Redmond, but it deflected off the stick of Martin Hanzal and past Mike Smith at 3:16 into overtime to complete an Avs’ rally, 4-3 over the Arizona Coyotes. Gabe Landeskog had two goals in the win.
