A 19-year-old woman, who is a student at Tennessee, told Knoxville police that she was raped early Sunday morning by linebacker A.J. Johnson and cornerback Michael Williams, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

The woman said the incident took place around 1:45 a.m. at the Woodlands Apartment Complex in South Knox County and lasted “about 45 minutes.” Additionally, another woman, also 19-years-old, told police that “Williams sexually assaulted her” at the same location.

According to a police report, the woman who was raped required medical attention following the alleged incident. The woman who said she was sexually assaulted did not require medical treatment and has informed authorities that she will not pursue charges.

“One victim indicated she had been raped by two males and the second female indicated she was a victim of sexual assault,” said Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk.

Tennessee head coach Butch Jones suspended both payers from all team-related activities on Monday. Neither has been charged with a crime.

Prosecutors in Knox County will make the decision if the players are charged with a crime.

From the Sentinel:

DeBusk said the office of Knox County District Attorney General Charme Allen will decide if evidence and statements collected by police warrant the issuance of an arrest document or if a grand jury will determine if charges should be filed.

Neither player have been interviewed, but DeBusk said he expects “that to change.”

The 22-year-old Johnson, a senior, leads Tennessee and is second in the SEC with 101 tackles. He was a first-team All-SEC selection in 2013.

Williams, a 21-year-old redshirt sophomore, came to Tennessee as a track and field athlete but joined the football team as a walk-on in 2013. He has started five games for the Vols this season and made 23 tackles.

Tennessee hosts Missouri at Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
