Mike Vrabel says on Twitter his three Super Bowl rings were stolen

Mike Vrabel is an assistant coach for the Houston Texans, and he seems a little peeved on his team's bye week.

Why? Well, it appears that thieves have taken three of his prized possessions.

(Oh, and we've whited out one of Vrabel's saltier words. Not that we can blame him ...)

Vrabel earned all three as a smart, tough and versatile linebacker (and moonlight tight end) with the New England Patriots. He's in his first year as a Texans linebacker coach after spending the past few seasons coaching on Urban Meyer's staff at Ohio State.

Let's hope that the rings are recovered. And that those Houston-area pawn shops will not accept the hot goods. Luckily, Super Bowl rings are personally inscribed with each player's name and often their number. They won't be hard to identify.
