Green Bay Packers punt defense is so good, it kicked before the punter

You've never seen a punt block quite like this.

The Green Bay Packers delivered one of the season's most thorough and convincing beatdowns on Sunday night, hammering the Chicago Bears for 42 unanswered points in the first half. The second was where it got weird.

Chicago was punting early in the third — the only surprise there was that the Bears didn't turn it over — and lined up in the standard formation. But, as with so much else in this game, there was nothing "standard" about what happened. The Packers' Jarrett Boykin fired off the line so fast that he got into the backfield before punter Pat O'Donnell could even get foot on ball.

Officially, the play was called a fumble, since there was no actual punt taking place. Also officially, the Bears will disavow any knowledge of this game's existence from here on out.
