Bucks' Brandon Knight gets stuck in the air, loses all motor skills (Video)

It is a basketball cliche that a player should not leave his feet with the ball if he doesn't have a good idea of what he wants to do. Yet top-level players do this all the time, in part because they're skilled and athletic enough to improvise in fractions of seconds. It's not always the worst decision in the world.

If you're going to do it, though, then it's probably a good idea to have some sense of your available options. Brandon Knight of the Milwaukee Bucks did not plan accordingly before leaving his feet in the final seconds of the first half of Tuesday night's game at the Indiana Pacers. Looking for a buzzer-beater, Knight jumped around the free-throw line in the hopes — we assume — of getting a shot up over Indiana's Donald Sloan. The result was not much of anything:

I don't know if Knight just had a brain fart or if the shoot button got stuck on his video-game controller, but either way it's a delightful little moment. He also had the last laugh, tallying 23 points (10-of-16 FG), seven rebounds, and two steals in an 87-81 win.
