Cardiff's Aron Gunnarsson practices throw-ins with computer monitor

Cardiff City's Aron Gunnarsson may not be at the World Cup, but the Icelandic midfielder is clearly using his time wisely.

Gunnarsson is renowned for his Rory Delap-style long throw-ins, but a shoulder injury prevented him from reaching maximum velocity last season.

In a bid to show his return to fitness, the 25-year-old went back to 1998, found a giant computer monitor and proceeded to launch it.

He doesn't have both feet on the ground and the monitor doesn't go behind his head, so technically it's a foul throw. However, the Championship uses spherical balls rather than huge antiquated computer screens, so it shouldn't be a problem next season.
