Washington Redskins bus in minor crash on way to stadium, but everyone OK

The Washington Redskins just seem to have a black cloud following them sometimes. Thank goodness this time it wasn't darker.

According to multiple reports on Twitter from Redskins players and team officials, the team's bus was involved in a minor crash on the way to play the Minnesota Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday morning.

Here's some evidence of the crash from wide receiver Pierre Garcon:

It appears everyone involved with the Redskins is OK. A police officer reportedly was taken to the hospital to treat minor injuries, so it sounds as if disaster was averted.

The son of Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett sent along this other photo:

So what exactly happened?

It appears the bus got off course a bit, and there was some immediate fear that it might be more than just a fender bender.

Thankfully, that was the brunt of the damage. Kickoff remains at 1 p.m. EST.

But linebacker Keenan Robinson is considering alternate modes of transportation for next week's game.
