Phil Mickelson now 'interim assistant coach' at AZ State

From trying to sell his California home for the millionth time to being a part of the 11-man PGA of America Ryder Cup task force, Phil Mickelson has plenty to do. But somehow Mickelson has apparently found time to become an interim assistant coach for the Arizona State golf program.

Mickelson is helping out brother Tim, who is at the helm of the Sun Devil program. The opportunity came about when assistant coach Joe Prince left the program in September, according to Golfweek.

As the title suggests -- and Mickelson's schedule dictates -- this won't be a permanent position for Lefty, who has a PGA Tour life to resume come 2015. However, the assistant coach isn't taking the job lightly, recently making a recruiting call to a highly touted amateur player on behalf of the Arizona State program.
