A little blizzard won't stop the Michigan football playoffs

Football state playoffs are underway across the country, from sunny San Diego to the less-fan-friendly northern regions. From the looks of it, kids on the coasts are much better off than those in Boyne City, Michigan.

Boyne City is just inland from Lake Michigan, less than 100 miles from the border with Canada. Temperatures were a balmy 30-degrees Fahrenheit after school on Wednesday, but that didn't stop the district champs from suiting up for practice. They got more than an inch of snow.

A player on the Boyne City Ramblers sent a local reporter a photo as they prepped to host the Pine River in the regional final on Friday night.

Boyne City won last week's district final 47-0. The soccer and cross country teams are already done for the season.

Weather.com shows it should be about 23-degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff on Friday night. If the field looks anything like this again, it's hard to imagine anyone will be playing football.
