The Houston Texans' Arian Foster had one of his best nights of the season on Thursday night in a losing effort against the Colts, rushing for more than a hundred yards and two touchdowns. However, he made even more of a statement before the game with his choice of warmup t-shirt.
Foster wore a shirt in support of the St. Louis community of Ferguson, a town wracked by civil unrest in the wake of the shooting death of teenager Mike Brown. Foster's shirt read "Stay Strong St. Louis" on the front, and "RIP Mike Brown" on the back.

It's not the first Ferguson protest to reach the NFL. Earlier this season, the Washington Redskins showed support for the movement by entering their preseason game with arms raised in "don't shoot" symbolism, recalling the words the unarmed Brown said before being shot by police. While Foster's shirt is not NFL code, it would be highly surprising if the NFL decided to fine him for this particular uniform offense.
