Tiger Woods chips in for birdie during the opening round of the PGA Championship

There were plenty of questions coming in about Tiger Woods' golf game, but one thing that did look pretty good last week at Firestone was his chipping.

Martin Kaymer played with Woods at the Bridgestone Invitational and told ESPN, "What I was very impressed about was the chipping. The way he chipped them was so pure. He just nipped them off the ground. For me, it's probably the best chipping action."

That was on full display during his opening round at the PGA Championship when Woods chipped in for birdie on his seventh hole of the day after making two early bogeys.

Woods missed the green short on the par-4 16th, but was able to knock in the chip shot to the cheers of the enormous crowds following both Tiger and Phil Mickelson.

The round has seen some good shots from Tiger and some ugly ones, but this was definitely one of his highlights of this Thursday at Valhalla.
