Michigan reveals new 'Go Blue' alternate uniforms (Photos)

A look at Michigan’s new alternate uniform made its way around social media Friday afternoon. A few hours later, the school officially unveiled the new look.

The Wolverines will wear the new adidas “Go Blue” TECHFIT uniform in the team’s night game at The Big House against Penn State on October 11. According to a release from the school, these are the first “head-to-toe blue look” in the history of Michigan football.

Take a look.

The jersey and pants both feature “metallic blue, laser-cut stripes that shine under the lights.” For now, the combination will only be worn for the Penn State game – the fifth time the Wolverines wear alternate uniforms in conjunction with their adidas apparel partnership.

In conjunction with the unveiling, a hype video for the game and the uniform was also released.

We all know a uniform reveal is no fun unless a player reaction video comes with it. Based off this footage, the Wolverines look excited.

Michigan’s season opens up against Appalachian State at home on August 30.
