Check out the gun on this referee throwing flag in Jaguars-Bears (Video)

Everyone is bemoaning the number of flags thrown so far in the preseason. But one look at this referee's cannon, and you might change your mind.

ESPN broadcast last night's Jacksonville Jaguars-Chicago Bears game, and after many of you had tuned out, they put up quite the graphic on the distance of said throw — 31 yards! Eat your heart out, Jay Cutler and Blake Bortles.

Still awaiting confirmation on this, but we believe the mad gunner was back judge Todd Prukop, who was a former free safety at Cal State-Fullerton back in the 1980s. Maybe the Titans (Cal State, not Tennessee, although, heck, maybe them too) should have tried him at quarterback.

Hey, if the zebras are going to throw flags on every play it seems, at least some are doing it in style.
