In a conversation with Yahoo! Finance, Brett Favre talked about returning to Lambeau Field to be inducted to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
The 16-year Green Bay veteran has only been back to the area once, very briefly, since retiring from the NFL. He made an appearance at his steakhouse, located near the stadium, but did not actually go to Lambeau.
It sounds like he was a bit worried that fans wouldn't want to celebrate with him as his No. 4 is finally retired. But he can stop worrying – tickets are already selling out.
In the greenroom, he told Yahoo he might just give fans one of the few things they didn't get during his playing days: a Lambeau Leap.
But fans might remember a bit more clearly than Favre – he did the famous leap on Oct. 29. 2006, when his 3-4 Packers defeated the 1-7 Cardinals.
After looking back at his own retirement, Favre also talked about the decision Peyton Manning is facing. "I think the interesting thing about Peyton's situation the last month and a half is that initially he said this is going to be a quick decision," he said. Clearly, it's taking longer than he expected.
"Believe me, I sympathize with him because I've been there," said Favre.
