It is no secret that Bubba Watson is long, but this long?!
During the third round of the Bridgestone Invitational, Bubba Watson took full advantage of a speed slot on the par-5 16th hole and saw his drive travel 424 yards, the longest drive on the PGA Tour this season by 27 yards.
How crazy long was it? Watson hit a 5-iron into the green, and the hole measures 667 yards from the tee.
Maybe crazier than the drive is the fact that Bubba went on to make a bogey on the hole, which led to this tweet by Webb Simpson's caddie.
While this drive by Bubba was deep, it isn't the longest we've seen this summer. Rory McIlroy drove the green on a 436-yard par-4 at the Scottish Open last month, which you can watch right here.
Bubba does have bragging rights over McIlroy when it comes to distance, as Watson leads the PGA Tour in driving distance this season at 313.6 yards per pop while Rory sits third, averaging 307.5 yards per drive.
