The Green Bay Packers and prodigal son Brett Favre appear to have made up.
We don't yet know what the two sides will be saying, but they will hold a joint press announcement on Monday. Here was the release from the team Sunday night:

“The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. and the Green Bay Packers will make a joint announcement regarding former quarterback Brett Favre Monday, Aug. 4, at 1:30 p.m., in the new Hall of Fame under construction in the Lambeau Field Atrium.”
Packers Hall of Fame Inc. president Perry Kidder, Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and Bob Harlan, a member of the Packers Hall of Fame Inc. executive committee and chairman emeritus of the Packers, all will speak in person. Favre is expected to call by phone in and speak as well.
An educated guess? Favre will have his number retired and enter the team's Hall of Fame and that ceremony will be associated with the re-opening of the team's Hall of Fame, which has been under renovation and will re-open in 2015.
Favre and the Packers had an acrimonious divorce in 2008, and only recently have the two sides made tangible repairs to the relationship. But the ice has thawed a bit and it appears that the team will have a ceremony to properly recognize one of the most important players in franchise history.
