Broncos DL Terrance Knighton says Ray Rice should be thrown out of NFL

NFL players usually stick together. Maybe they'll talk some trash about football or have their personal feuds, but it's rare to see one speak about another the way Broncos defensive lineman Terrance Knighton ripped Ray Rice on Monday morning.

The Rice wound was reopened when video of the Baltimore Ravens' star running back was released on TMZ and it showed him brutally punching his then-fiancee and knocking her out. Rice was given just a two-game suspension, which has been universally criticized as too lenient. After seeing the video like everyone else, Knighton went to his Twitter account and said Rice doesn't belong in the NFL, period.

That man should be thrown out the the nfl and thrown into jail. Shame on those deciding his punishment. Smh

If there's anyway to open that case up and give this guy the punishment he deserves, it NEEDS to be done.

Strong words from the outspoken Broncos lineman. The way Rice and the NFL have been widely criticized in wake of his domestic violence incident, it would seem like a lot of people will be standing behind Knighton on his opinion.
